for 1500M at City U Athletic Meet 96 |

 | I started running when I was in F.6. Before that, I was fat and
didn't join any kind of sports. After I joined the summer camp of HEBE association, I have
kept myself fit. In OCT 92, it organized a race the 3rd
挑戰飛鵝山, that was the 1st time I was participated in distance
running, I finished the 3.5 km race in 32 mins and I was the 4th. After that, I found that
I have potential to run long distance, therefore, I tried to run 1500M in the Athletic
Meet of my school. Although I was not fast (7'12"), I won that event. Also in the
same month I won the 4th in 市政局黃大仙區飛鵝山長跑which
made me full of confidence in running.

 | Going to City U is my another minestone in running. I didn't
actually join any track and fields events in secondary school. My classmate, Anita had
persuaded me to join the school team training, however, since I was attending an athletic
course organized by TCAA at that time, I had time crash to join that. That's why I missed
the HKPSCAA x-country competition in 94. Later, I joined the Athletic Team in City and
started to train in my club DART. I tried my first 800M running in 3'12" at New
Territories All-District Athletic Meet 1995. I was terribly slow.....

 | Thanks to our coach, Mr. Liang, I learnt what is track running.
I learnt how to perform better in the competitions. That year, I ran 6'10" in 1500M
and 2'59" in 800M at City's athletic meet! Later, I ran 6'00" in 1500M and
2'54" in 800M at HKPSCAA Athletic Meet 95. I had trained twice or 3 times every week
at that summer. Therefore, I got great progress in the Shatin District athletic meet. I
ran 2'47" for 800M and 5'37" for 1500M which won ah Man again. In eveing meeting
at Sep 95, I even ran 800M in 2'44"!

 | That's all for my brightness period lar. Later, I can only keep
the record up to a certain extend. I ran 2'43" twice for the 800M in HKPSCAA in 96
& 97. And only in my final year (98), I could have 5'37" for 1500M. I thought the
fittest me was in 98 - 99. I had a time trial of 3000M in 12'21" and I ran 10K in
47'. Also I could run 5'40" for 1500M even just 1 week after a full marathon. I hope
that I can keep myself return to that standard soon.
